Work Experience

Art Outsourcing Manager

June 2021 - Feb 2025

Iron Galaxy Studios

I led the outsourcing pipeline for two major projects: an unannounced League of Legends initiative and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4. Beyond managing external art production, I also focused on improving internal processes, developing a standardized task breakout template system, automation tools, and production dashboards to streamline workflows. Additionally, I created an employee growth plan process that was so effective it was adopted across the entire department, helping to guide and develop talent.

Outsourced Art Manager

June 2016 - June 2021

Motion Logic Studios

I oversaw teams ranging from 15 to 55 artists, ensuring high-quality work across multiple projects simultaneously. My role covered a wide range of art disciplines, including modeling, animation, rigging, illustration, and motion graphics. I also played a key role in project planning, scoping work, preparing budget estimates, and tracking progress to keep everything on schedule and within budget. It was a fast-paced environment that required adaptability, clear communication, and the ability to balance creative vision with production realities.

3D Artist

Jan 2012 - Feb 2013

Death Knell Games

For an indie survival horror game, I was responsible for creating and texturing both individual props and modular assets. Beyond asset creation, I also helped shape the game's atmosphere by building environments that supported its narrative through environmental storytelling. My goal was to ensure that every detail—from lighting to composition—contributed to an immersive and eerie experience for players.

Education

B.A. in Fine Arts

Aug 2008 - Dec 2012

Illinois State University

I specialized in sculpture while also exploring 3D modeling, video production, jewelry design, critical theory, and Japanese.
